Improving the Quality of Life of an Entire Town Through Fitness

Training Groups Initiative

As both a way of support our sports clubs off season fitness and interested citizens our members organize fitness groups, runs, rides and walks. Our groups ride the bike trail, run a designed route or walk around town. We encourage these groups to meet regularly, exercise and share.

We welcome existing groups interesting in expanding to new members the opportunity to advertise here.  We believe that just about any activity can have the added element of exercise so we encourage our community members to use their existing interests and add a walk, run or physical activity.

Start a Group

Core Group - Get a few friends together and agree to meet at a designated location, like the park, trail or a restaurant at least once a week.

Youth Sports ConditioningWe meet at the Griffith High School baseball field at 8:00 a.m. every Saturday for a conditioning run. Run length will vary depending on experience level and age.

Pet Lovers - We would like for members of the community to start walking with their pets as a form of exercise.

Youth Sports Conditioning  - Runners

30 Second Runners - This running program is for anyone who has never run, exercised or is completely out of shape. We meet three times a week and run for 30 seconds at a time with long walks in the middle.
